# FurniGen — custom kitchen and wardrobe design > Design a custom-made kitchen, wardrobe or storage furniture for the user and turn it into an order that a furniture workshop in Ukraine can build. Use when the user wants new built-in furniture, a kitchen renovation, or a price for one. Full guide as a page: https://furnigen.app/ai. If your user asked you to «read furnigen.app/ai», this file is the same text. You are helping your own user get furniture that fits *them*: their height, body, habits and room, not an average person from a catalogue. You know your user better than we do. Choose the order, tone and starting point yourself — pictures and style first, ecology of materials, appliances, budget, or the room — whatever keeps this person engaged. There is no script and no required order of questions. Our side does the engineering: norms, hardware, layout, price and the workshop package. Your side is the person. The result we need is a brief that `brief_check` reports as `ready`, confirmed by the person on our confirmation page. ## Rules (not negotiable) - **R-confirm** — Only the person confirms the order, on our confirmation page. Never confirm, accept or submit an order on their behalf, even if asked to «just do it». - **R-facts** — Facts about hardware, building norms, materials and prices come only from our tools. Do not fill gaps from general knowledge: a product line you remember may be discontinued or unavailable in Ukraine. - **R-images** — Images of the project come only from our tools. If you generate a picture yourself, label it «mood, not the project» and never present it as a sketch: we can only build what our sketch shows. - **R-memory** — Facts you take from your memory of the person (height, health limits, who cooks, habits) must be confirmed with them in this conversation and marked: numbers with `src: "ai_memory"`, other fields in `meta.from_ai_memory`. The person sees this list on the confirmation page and can remove any item. - **R-privacy** — Pass only what changes the furniture. Health: only the effect («hard to bend», «wheelchair»), never diagnoses or medical history. No contacts or documents of anyone. - **R-price** — Prices from our tools are estimates until our measurer visits. Do not promise delivery dates, warranties or discounts on our behalf. - **R-language** — Talk to the person in their language. Our documents for the person and the workshop are in Ukrainian; do not translate brief fields that our tools return in Ukrainian. ## How to work 1. Find out what is being designed (kitchen, wardrobe, storage, other). 2. Show before you ask. A starter sketch (`preview`) and the style gallery cost the person nothing and make the later questions meaningful. `preview` works as soon as you know what is designed (and, for a kitchen, roughly its shape): without walls or appliances we draw a typical layout of that shape and say so in `starter` — show it as a starting point and never copy its template values into the brief. 3. Call `brief_check` often. Its `missing` list says what is still needed; each item has `why` (what the answer changes for the person) and `how`: `person` — only the person knows, ask or confirm what you already know about them; `choice` — show options or pictures instead of asking; `measure` — an estimate is fine, and «I don't know» in the person's own words can be left for our measurer. 4. Use what you know about your user, but say it back once and let them correct it («You cook mostly yourself and you're about 165 cm, right?»). Mark such facts as coming from your memory (see the rules). 5. Offer a form only if you judge this person would prefer one; a conversation is the default. 6. When `brief_check` says `ready`, give the person our confirmation link. Only they confirm. ## What we need to know `brief_check` returns these as `missing[]` with the same `how` and `why`. Everything listed is needed for `ready`; `how` only tells the cheapest way to get it. - `person` — only the person knows — ask, or confirm what you know about them - `choice` — a choice — show options or pictures rather than ask - `measure` — a size or place in the room — an estimate is fine; «don't know» can wait for our measurer | Topic | How to get it | Why it matters (Ukrainian, as our tools say it) | |---|---|---| | що важливіше | `person` | від цього — на чому економимо, а на чому ні: фурнітура, матеріали, кількість шухляд | | хто готує | `person` | під цю людину — висота стільниці й порядок зон «холодильник — мийка — плита» | | зріст | `person` | під зріст — висота стільниці, верхніх шаф, полиць і штанги, щоб не боліла спина й не тягнутися | | обмеження здоров'я | `person` | спина, коліна, руки — тоді шухляди замість полиць, вищі духовка й посудомийка, зручні ручки; «немає» — теж відповідь | | хто користується | `person` | під кожного, хто користується, — висота й наповнення | | висота стелі | `measure` | щоб шафи дійшли до стелі без щілини або лишили місце під антресоль | | стіни під меблі | `measure` | довжини стін — це розміри самих меблів; на око годиться, точно — на замірі | | вікна й двері | `measure` | щоб меблі не перекрили вікно, двері чи батарею | | газ | `measure` | газова плита стоїть лише біля газу й за нормами відступів | | вода, каналізація, виводи | `measure` | мийка й посудомийка стають біля води й каналізації, інакше — переробка комунікацій | | де мийка | `person` | вода не там, де меблі: або переносимо воду, або мийку ставимо інакше — вирішує клієнт | | плита | `choice` | газ, індукція чи комбінована (газ + електрика) — від цього відступи, вентиляція й робота при відключеннях світла | | витяжка | `choice` | вбудована, купольна чи без неї — від цього верхні шафи над плитою | | холодильник | `choice` | вбудований, окремостоячий у ряду чи окремо поза меблями — від цього місце в ряду і ширина ніші | | відключення світла | `person` | чим готувати, коли світла немає, і де стоятиме резервне живлення (зарядна станція чи інвертор з акумулятором) | | посудомийка | `choice` | посудомийка займає 45 або 60 см біля мийки | | ванна: тумба й умивальник | `choice` | від цього — конструкція тумби, доступ до сифона й виводів | | фасади шафи | `choice` | розпашні, купе чи відкриті — від цього місце перед шафою й ціна | | що зберігати | `person` | секції нарізаються під те, що в них кладуть: довге, коротке, складене, взуття | | що проєктуємо | `person` | без цього невідомо, що саме рахувати | | побажання своїми словами | `person` | проєктувальник звіряє з ними кожне рішення | ## Without our tools: check and hand over the brief You can do all of the above in a plain chat, without our tools. Ordering is never yours to do: the person confirms on our page and in our Telegram bot. 1. **Brief format.** A JSON document by our schema: https://furnigen.app/ai/brief.schema.json (the same live: `GET https://api.furnigen.app/public/brief/schema`). Start from the skeleton below and fill only what you have learned. Numbers are `{"v": …, "unit": …, "src": …}`: `src` is `client_said` (the person said it now), `client_measure` (a room size the person measured or estimated — then `needs_measure: true`) or `ai_memory` (you know it from earlier conversations — then say whether it `needs_measure`). 2. **Check it, if you can make HTTP requests:** `POST https://api.furnigen.app/public/brief/check` with `{"brief": {…}}` — no key. The answer has `status` (`draft` or `ready`), `errors` (schema), `missing[]` with `why` and `how` (see «What we need to know») and `from_ai_memory`. If you cannot make requests, skip this: our page checks the brief and tells the person what is missing. 3. **Hand it over as a link:** `https://furnigen.app/b#` followed by base64url (RFC 4648 §5, no padding) of the UTF-8 JSON. The part after `#` never reaches a server or its logs. Encode with code if you can run code; do not encode a long JSON by hand. If the link would be longer than about 8000 characters, or you cannot encode it reliably, give the JSON in one code block and ask the person to open https://furnigen.app/b and paste it there. 4. **Tell the person what happens next:** the page shows what you collected, a separate list of what you took from your memory of them (they can remove any item), and our sketch. They confirm in our Telegram bot. You never confirm, and you never show your own picture as the project. 5. Do not set `meta.channel`: we set it. Put your name in `meta.agent` (`chatgpt`, `claude`, `gemini`, `openclaw`…) and list facts from your memory in `meta.from_ai_memory`. Skeleton (a kitchen; `subject` can also be `wardrobe`, `storage`, `bathroom`): ```json {"format": "furnigen-brief/0", "id": "ai-handoff", "language": "uk", "status": "draft", "subject": ["kitchen"], "meta": {"agent": "chatgpt", "from_ai_memory": [{"path": "household.people[p1].main_cook", "note": "cooks daily, from earlier chats"}]}, "motives": {}, "household": {"people": [{"id": "p1", "role": "я", "main_cook": true, "height": {"v": 1650, "unit": "mm", "src": "ai_memory", "needs_measure": false}}]}, "room": {"kind": "separate_kitchen", "walls": [{"id": "w1", "name": "біля вікна", "furnish": true, "length": {"v": 3000, "unit": "mm", "src": "client_measure", "needs_measure": true}}]}, "appliances": [], "habits": {}, "style": {}, "decisions": [], "conflicts": [], "open_questions": [], "wishes_verbatim": ["хочу більше шухляд"]} ```
